Conceived by a dream shared by my dad and I, the vision of a beautiful farm house stood resilient against the odds. There were times when the land seemed more burden than opportunity, yet my steadfast belief echoed, “Have faith, Papa; one day we’ll build this.”
The name “Shraddha” bears witness to this unwavering faith. In the depths of its meaning, the Indian word encapsulates the essence of our journey – faith that transcends challenges, carving a space for dreams to flourish.

Inception of the Dream: From Tiny Cabin Videos to Pinterest Boards
The seeds of Shraddha House were planted as we marveled at the creativity showcased in tiny cabin construction videos. The allure of container homes captivated our imagination, and Pinterest became a canvas where ideas bloomed. Despite the love that bound us, a few good-natured arguments peppered our journey, mostly swaying in the favor of my vision—because, let’s face it, sometimes you just need to let the dreamer dream.
Minimalism Meets Luxury
The heartbeat of Shraddha House is the pursuit of minimalism with a touch of luxury. The mabati (iron sheet) exterior, which often adorns houses of the less privileged in Kenya, becomes a canvas for redefining perceptions.
